Since the globalization of UTM has been championed by our administration, the usage of PSZ has risen tremendously. Also the new webometric ranking shows that PSZ UTM once again becomes the top repository among Malaysian universities. Congratulations!
It is implausible for the time being to open PSZ library for 24 hours a day due to technical and staff capacity. However, it is sad to say that the current 24-hour room provided by PSZ UTM is in poor condition. UTM has more than 20000 students. However, the 24-hour room cannot even accommodate 100 students at a time.
I hereby suggest the upgrade of the 24-hour room by PSZ UTM. Therefore, I hope PSZ UTM can take a look at this issue by implementing new mechanism that can provide equal opportunity for every student or providing new space for 24-hour room. This is an urgent suggestion.
