Assalamualaikum and warm greetings,

FYI, UTM has organised the Leadership Discourse for UTM Administrators – Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) that has facilitated by YBhg Dato VC on 21 October 2011. After that UTM has organised a workshop on BOS. I was joined the group discussion lead by Dr Ismail Ahmed, Director of student Medical Centre of UTM. This my suggestion also our group suggestion to make new innovation to enhance customer services especially in health care. My suggestion is to create a “Drive Thru Dispensary/Pharmacy” in UTM. TORs: The patients/customers should be requested the regular medicine (repeat) from UTM Student Health Care and get the approval/confirmation first from the doctor/dispensary department before he/she take the medicine. Also the Medical Centre of UTM should inform the customers via email, sms, telephone/mobile.

Other my suggestions are to create:

1. “Drive Thru Library” for library services in UTM especially borrowing and returning books/materials to library. TORs: The borrower should be requested the books and materials from UTM Library and then get the approval first from the librarian the the Librarian should inform the customers via email, sms, telephone/mobile.

2. “Fast Claims Counter” the Busary’c Office – the staff/customer should bring a completed documents as requested by Busary Office. After get the approval, the payment should made immediately by cash or cheque. The Busary should be prepared the policies and regulations.
