Updates on Notable Alumni

Receiving a newsletter from my PhD alma mater, one thing caught my attention which prompted me to come up with this suggestion. It would be great if our university can post an update (on UTM main page probably) whenever our alumni are promoted to an important position. Not just in the government or political entities, but also learned societies, private companies, multinationals or any positions worth posting. This include as directors, managers, presidents etc. Other than boosting students’ motivation, it will also prove that we value our alumni as much as we value our staff and students. This will keep them attached to the university for the rest of their lives.
