Adding features of access to user’s gallery or photos in UTM smart QR Scan. If students forgot or missed scanning the QR code during the class or couldnt access e-learning, they can simply save the QR code given by the lecturers, capture it from the screen, and keep it in the gallery and scanned anytime they want as long it’s open.
Let’s say we have morning classes, and lecturers might share the QR on Telegram or WhatsApp. Instead of opening Telegram and WhatsApp web, you can straight use your smartphone to scan your attendance or merit. To make it short, you save much time.
There will be cons as well. Some students might take advantage to scan the attendance or merit even tough they are not present. To overcome this, I think those sharing the QR have to limit the time activation for it. Or maybe for those you want to scan attendance or merit via their gallery, we can add additional features like particular questions and codes to ask and ask them to take pictures of themselves at the specific event as a proof.
