There are many special requirements for each individual to be followed to stay healthy and sound. In particular, the food we consume plays an important role for body health and energy states. For the past five years, I have studied the impact of different kinds of food on human health and productivity. I have come to the conclusion that the food that provides most energy and productiveness is organic and vegan.

When I came to Malaysia about two months ago, I had the chance to explore Malaysian food which is very delicious and in many ways already suitable to follow my findings. However, in order to have a vegan diet, or at least a pure vegetarian lunch, I have to either be very selective in existing restaurants on Campus or drive outside the Campus.

I would like to suggest to open a cafeteria or a section on Campus in which only organic vegetarian food is served. This has two very important benefits:
1. it gives all staff and students the opportunity to eat healthy and energy supporting food which makes them more efficient and productive in their daily work.
2. it supports our emphasis on sustainability and nature conservation since organic food is produced without chemicals, pesticides or other elements damaging our environment.

If you need more background information, I would be very pleased to provide the necessary material.

Sincerely yours,
Christine
