Good day Team,

Thanks for the approving of my idea (live streaming of Guest Lectures & Seminars).

In order to optimise this idea, it is imperative that we appreciate the fact that the whole world has now become our audience since they all from all over the world can connect live to our programme at UTM.

I am sure they would not only want to be a passive participant (watching alone), they would like to be active participant (contributing too). Some may have useful comments and or questions they may want to ask in the course of the programme.

This may be achieved by having an account in one or more of these mediums: Facebook, Twitter, and Skype. We can open an account tagged “UTMLIVESTREAMS” wherein people can make their contributions heard.

This could also be used for guest lecturers who may not be physically & geographically disposed to been a part, but with the help of these mediums their knowledge can be well captured and shared from wherever with the audience at UTM.

In practical terms, the MC or an Asst. MC can be saddled with the responsibility to manage the traffic of comments coming from these social media networks and have them relayed whilst the programme is being simultaneously on in an orderly fashion.

I hope I have been succinct enough. If there are any clarifications I will be of utmost availability to respond to them all.
