The VC’s vision to encourage staff and students to cycle to work is a great step to save the earth. However, there are some facilities that are needed to make this vision a success.
1. Currently, there’s not enough bicycle parking facilities esp in individual faculty, alike to Faculty of Built Environment.
2. Shower facilities for staff and students to freshen up before class / work starts. If there’s no such facilities, most can’t cycle to work as they can’t freshen up themselves before a class.
