Resistance to Change is normal for every organizations, nevertheless, change must be done in order to stay relevant and competitive. Therefore in order for change to happen successfully, organization must address issues faced by the employees that lead them to “resist” (resistance can be varied: (i. don’t bother, ii. bothered- keeping mum, iii. bothered-voice out, left) . Common actions taken by the organization are, for example, to conduct sharing sessions or periodical engagements with the stakeholders). Granted these are some of the ways to get people to be informed or encourage participation, but not everybody has the courage to speak up or express dissents particularly when the persons they have to face is from the top management or their immediate superiors. My suggestion is to create a ‘SYNERGY 4.0 Confessions’ page, similar to IIUM confessions, UTM confessions that students have created to express their opinions towards their respective universities. Important to note, identity of the confessors must remain anonymous. Even we at the school level has used this medium for information to help us improve our services and minimizes dissent among our students.
